A 10 second advertising slot on each digital display (PMD) will be charged at $100 - $200 for the smaller sizes and $700 - $1000 for the larger sizes. Each advert will appear every five minutes for 12 hours each day for a full month.

There are 4 advert sizes based on the digital display size and 30 adverts can be placed on each display in sequence.

• 17” screen – 15x15” adverts

• 22” screen – 20x20” adverts

• 32” screen – 30x30” adverts

• 52” screen – 50x50” adverts

To keep the viewers from getting bored and to increase impact, the adverts will be interspaced with interesting content such as sports news, headlines, etc.

Once the advert has been booked, the customer can pay through the lumiads.com website and upload the graphics. Lumisigns will animate this and upload it to the digital display from its facilities in Korea and China.


The low initial investment and operating costs mean that the franchise will breakeven within the first 3 months. After this it will generate a six figure profit within the first year. The PMD's will work for between 5 to 7 years if they are run for approximately 12 hours a day. This means that very little capital investment is required once the business is running. There are also future expansion avenues that can further increase the revenue generated.

Future expansion avenues:

• Interactive strategies can be added to get a direct response from the target market - SMS discount vouchers or SMS trivia contests. Potential impacts are doubled as the viewer needs to claim the voucher and return to pay for the parking ticket

• The Lumicam can be fitted at a later date to the PMD and the advertiser can be charged each time a customer views an advert. It can also give the advertiser data such as the time each person viewed for and other demographics such as gender. This high quality data can be combined with the ticket data to give accurate statistics.
